Dempsey's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dempsey's Story...
Dempsey is a super sweet 10-month old kitten who is very affectionate and playful. He's a little shy of strangers but once he gets to know you, he's your cuddle buddy. He has a beautiful plumed tail. He would also be a good companion for another cat as he gets along with other cats and dogs. Dempsey would probably do best in a home with older children or as an only cat. Dempsey has been dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. If you'd like more information or to meet Dempsey, email: cafaoregon@yahoo.com or call/text 503-586-6176.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dempsey, a Salem Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Salem, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
