My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bree is a lovely little deaf senior sheltie. She is very quiet. She hasn’t barked once yet, and she spends most of her time sleeping. We started her on thyroid supplements because she was sleeping so much, has sparse and brittle fur, and is overweight. She is very subdued, but every once in a while, when I let her into the back yard, she kicks up her heels and runs across the grass.

Bree loves to eat, and we are trying to get her to lose about 5 pounds. She currently weighs 26 but should ideally weight less than 20.

Bree just had major dental work and had to have 8 teeth removed. She was pretty well under the weather for the past few days while recovering (I heard her whimpering once or twice in the evenings) but seems to have turned the corner and is out and about a little more. Her doctor thinks she should be a new dog once she’s fully recovered! Poor little girlie - with a mouth full of painful teeth!
