Zip's Story...
Hi! My name is Zip and I have had quite a journey so far. I am only 1 year old. I was originally at the shelter in Bellefontaine and they were closing, so my guy adopted me but the person who would have been there to take care of me got some health problems and my guy is leaving for college in a couple of months. So he brought me here hoping we can find me a really good forever home. I am a super friendly boy and promise to be the best boy you ever had! I love to run and play in the yard outside. Please, please, please….get them to let us go out and play! Then maybe you will want to take me home with you. I just want a family of my own to love on me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zip, a Urbana Beagle/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Beagle/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Beagle/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
