Carter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Carter's Story...
Carter came to us from a shelter that was beyond full and he was in a run with 6 other dogs. We saw him getting picked on by another dog, poor Carter was so scared. That is how Carter ended up coming to us. He is such a sweetheart and everyone that meets him loves him. He is very gentle and loving and even been playing with a puppy that is in his foster home. He is about a year old and around 28lbs. He loves to sleep on the bed next to you or on a dog bed. Carter would be great for a family or single person. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, micro chipped, dewormed and on monthly prevention. He is just waiting for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Washington Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua for sale in Washington, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
