My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zack is a precious young red heeler x who is now available for adoption. He has had a rough past that he showed amazing determination to overcome. He is attentive and eager to please. Zack is very smart and has learned so much in the past 2 weeks that he has spent in a special foster home. He spent time with his foster daddy who is a dog behaviorist. He has learned many basic commands and also commands for controlling his energy level.
Zack is calm when with his people and is as sweet and affectionate as you can imagine! He plays nicely with other dogs once he's properly introduced. He's working on meeting new dogs a bit more calmly. Zack can be confused by overly excited dogs and thus, becomes overly excited himself. We think it would be best for Zack to go into a home with another dog who is more mellow in nature. Zack likes cats but just a little too much. So he cannot go into a home with any cat friends.
