My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Diamond. This gorgeous girl is a 4 year old red female Dobie. She is cropped and docked, fit and trim. Besides good looking, she also has a very nice disposition. She is quite social and loves to be petted. Her big passion in life is to hunt squirrels and other rodents. She has a keen eye to spot any moving critter in in her field of vision and make it clear that they are not welcome. Due to this prey drive, we don't feel comfortable placing her in a home with small breed dogs or cats. Diamond used to live with another adult female Dobie who was very submissive and sweet. Thus, we feel that with proper introduction and personality matching, she might do well with another large breed dog.

Diamond is an active girl and she currently enjoys going on occasional runs in the early morning with her foster dad. She walks very well on a leash and is a pleasure to walk. She is crate trained and rides well in the car. Diamond is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting this lovely girl, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org, and check out our adoption process and fill out an adoption application. Diamond's adoption fee is $225. Thank you for considering one of our foster dogs.
