Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lulu. She's a precious little girl around 2 years old currently weighing 28 pounds. She appears to be a cattle dog / dachshund, but since her prior life is unknown, we really don't know. Lulu was in boarding for several weeks, so her time on the streets and then boarding were hard for Lulu. It was hard for her to trust people and she was fearful. We're happy to report that she's now in foster care and is doing so well. Lulu is a girl who sticks close to her people. She's happy, eager to please and looks to you for direction. Lulu is still timid upon first meet and will take a bit to warm up to you. Treats are perfect to let her know you aren't a threat, then she gives kisses and sits in your lap.
Lulu is a happy girl. She loves to run and play and then curl up right beside you and always wants to be close. She knows the sit command and does well on a leash and would love to learn more tricks and commands. Lulu was spotted on the streets around town for at least a few weeks before being caught and put boarding. Lulu would do best in a home without small children due to her timidness and herding characteristics. She's God with other dogs and cats.
Lulu is current with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms.
Lulu is a wonderful little girl who just needs to settle into a safe and loving home with a new family who will love her forever.
