Cheery Blossom's Story...
Like the beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom in DC in the spring, I’m Cheery Blossom. Why “Cheery”? Well, because I’m make you smile, brightening your day with my sweet purr-sonality. I have an adorable little face with a beige fleur-de-lis on my forehead. I have a special bond with Foster Mommy because I nurse on her lower lip and use my gentle paws to knead on her cheeks. Would you love some flowery, feline kisses? I’m ready to find my forever home and a family to love. I’m in my FOHA foster home now with my siblings – Daffy Dill, Dandy Lion, Merry Gold, and Teacup Rose. You know flowers are best in bunches – and we’re a bunch of silly, playful, happy kittens. Come meet me and you’ll have a smile on your face, for sure!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheery Blossom, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
