Maggie VII's Story...
Hi, I’m Maggie, an 8 year old, 73 pound little lady. My owner is moving and his new place doesn’t allow pets, so he asked AGB for help to find a loving new home for me. I am incredibly sweet and well behaved. I know commands like Sit, Stay, and Down. I love car rides and swimming. I’m friendly around other dogs and loving toward children. I haven’t had much experience with those things you call cats. If you have room in your home and family for a sweet Golden girl like me, fill out an application and ask to meet majestic Maggie. See you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie VII, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
