I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sakora's Story...
Sakora is a lab mix - 37 pounds and about 3 years old. She has a gorgeous sleek black coat with a little white patch on her chest. She is extremely dog friendly and cat friendly, good with kids, and house trained. Sakora has started obedience classes. She’s well-mannered and quiet.

She needs to live in a household with dog savvy humans and some other dogs for company. She loves being part of a pack.
Sakora loves being active in the outdoors. She is terrific on hiking trails and likes to play in water. She would be a great walking or running buddy, and she would love to live with active, outdoorsy humans who take her and her canine companions on advenrtures.

Sakora is spayed and up to date on all shots, microchipped too

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sakora, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
