Tess is a female Maltese/Poodle mix only 11 months old. She is all puppy and has a zest for life that is readily apparent. She is incredibly friendly and very eager to please. Tess has non-shedding silvery white curls that are soft and silky. She came into the shelter completely matted (see picture of her matted coat when entered shelter) and unfortunately her entire coat had to be shaved. Her fur will grow out long and curly in no time and she will have her glorious coat back with longer wavy hair on her ears and tail. Tess is a people pleaser, intelligent and quick. She learns readily and is easy to train because of her willingness and ability to understand what you want. Tess literally comes running full tilt when you call her and will do whatever you want, sometimes with just a hand signal. For instance, if you point to a doorway, she understands immediately that you want her to go through it. Tess is excellent with children, fun and very safe. She would make an outstanding family dog for a home that is active and likes to do things. Tess is always up for anything and likes to be in the center of everything. She doesn't mind a busy household and welcomes guests with ease. Tess is also great with other dogs and is a happy playmate for any doggie friend that might want to go for a romp. She rides well in the car and can keep up with you all day long. Tess is sweetly affectionate and will cover your face with little kisses if you let her. She's a sweetheart! Tess is healthy and ready for her new forever loving home today.
Tess’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Tess is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.
