Kiwi's Story...
Hi, I'm Kiwi, I'm a girl and I'm about 6 months old. I was rescued this week from a hoarding case with my friend Chauncey. I'm hanging out with Miss Trisha from RARE right now but I wanted to tell you I am available for adoption. I am learning how to live the good life as a pet very quickly. I enjoy being loved and kissed on, it's a great thing, I never felt love before. The other day I went outside for the first time and even did my "business" out there, Miss Trisha was so proud of me, I got lots of extra kisses...I will have to do that more often. I'm hoping very soon to have my very own family because you know what, this pet life is GOOD!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi, a Columbia Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
