Jerry's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jerry's Story...

Jerry was adopted to live in a pet store but the store closed and the adopter was not taking good care of Jerry. He has lost hair from allergies which are being treated with advantage multi and a steroid shot. Jerry also has a heart murmur. But this big guy has lots of love to give, likes to be a lap cat too.

Jerry has been a loner for years while at the pet shop, but is relearning to get along with other cats. He has already made a cat friend at his foster home.

Jerry's special needs are not stopping him! Please give Jerry a chance to prove to you he has a lot of years of love to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a San Marcos Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Marcos, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Marcos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Marcos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Marcos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Marcos paves the way for another one to be saved.
