Aimee’s story:
Aimee and her littermates were abandoned at a parking lot near the entrance of a national park. These young puppies hopelessly scavenging for food scraps; they were all skin and bones. Thankfully, a rescuer spotted them on her routine feeding in the area. They were sent to the vet for a full checkup. Other than severe flea bites and skin infections, they are overall healthy puppies aged only couple months old. They were all placed with loving foster families. Aimee is one of these puppies.

Aimee has become a healthy and happy girl under the loving care in her foster home. We are looking for a family that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Will you open your heart and be willing to provide this cute puppy a place to call her own home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aimee, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
