Meet Sissy! Sissy is a beautiful border collie mix who is looking for a forever home. She is an amazing dog who is a bit shy at first but warms up into a loving and playful girl. She adores having other dogs to play with and gets the cutest "zoomies". She is extremely smart, loves belly rubs, and is learning to catch a frisbee. She has not had the best life. She is scared of raised voices and sudden movements. When this happens she will go to her safe place to hide. There will be a transition as she learns the sounds of her new family but once comfortable, she will be a truly amazing addition. She is gentle with puppies but tough enough to wrestle with a bully. She would love nothing better than to be your best friend and follow you everywhere. Her favorite activity is to sleep in your arms. If you are ready for a truly amazing dog, please apply at digsk9.org. Sissy's adoption fee is $300.

This dog is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.

About Grahamville Rescue and Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We are not a shelter as all of our rescued dogs live in foster homes where they are given enourmous amounts of love and attention while they await their forever home. Many animals are overlooked or forgotten and our goal is to give them a second chance on life and home to be loved in.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is quite simple. We ask that you complete an application on our website DigsK9.org. We are a foster based organization so special arrangements can be made for you to meet the animal you are applying for. After review of your application we will follow up with either a phone interview or a home visit. If everyone agrees that this would be a successful adoption than we make plans to finalize it.
