Pierre's Story...

Meet Pierre a 4 year old, Chihuahua / Corgi Mix, The smallest dog so far in the Canine CellMates program, weighing in at only 13.5 pounds, this guy makes up for his diminutive status with his larger than life personality!!
Ooh la la! This fancy heartthrob is on love rampage, melting every heart that meets him. Confident, bold yet quiet, Pierre is ru nning the show down at the jail. While resilient at the shelter, this little man has come out of his shell and owns every room he walks into. A star pupil, Pierre is beating out all of the competition in the training room. Eye contact with distractions, sit, touch, and leave it – that’s just the first three days for this smart little croissant. Pierre seems comfortable in every situation and would excel in almost any family environment. He loves other dogs (even big ones!), and is up for any new adventure!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pierre, a Atlanta Chihuahua/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Corgi for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Chihuahua/Corgi dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Corgi breeders who help with Chihuahua/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
