Facts about Uno

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Uno is a very friendly kitty. He is a black kitty, a male with short black fur. He’s about four years old and full of spirit. He came in as part of a large rescue operation and he was the very first of the frightened kitties to make friends with his new human caregivers. (This is why he was named “Uno”, because he was the first.) This is a testament to how courageous, adaptable and intelligent he is. Uno goes from place to place so that he can hang out where he sees his human friends. He also gets along well with other cats and would do well in a household with other kitties. He has tested FIV+, which latest research shows is not as contagious as once thought, so he can be easily mixed in with other cats. He would also do okay as an only kitty in the house, as long as he gets enough attention.

When you find a companion that is perfect for you, we will ensure that your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and microchipped.

At Brigid's Crossing we take the time to care for the animals until they are safe in their new homes which we believe makes for a healthy and happy transition for all involved.

All of our animals are chipped, spay/neutered and up to date on current shots.
