GloryCP's Story...
Location: New Cumberland, PA

Approx DOB: March 15, 2007

Glory is hoping to find a loving home since her mom passed away. Glory has lived with cats and gets along with them. She has also lived with dogs at times and there have been no problems there either. Glory is very sweet and purrs when you pet her. She loves attention and will come to you to be pet and loved. She has super soft, angora like fur.

Glory is spayed, declawed, and vaccinated. Vet records are available. She eats a weight management food and is fed separately from the other cats so she doesn’t over eat.

Glory’s sister, Friday (tiger), is also looking for a home. They don’t need to be placed together but they do get along.

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Glory, please contact Christin at 717-877-7372 or

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GloryCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
