Here's what the humans have to say about me:
So the Saddlebrook Pet Rescue Network hosted a luncheon and fashion show this week to raise money for greyhounds. They used the money they raised to sponsor ME! Can you believe it?! They're covering my veterinary and boarding expenses. SO nice.
I wanted to make sure I looked pretty and made a good first impression today. I was trying to appear fashion savvy, but I think I put my headband on a little too tight. I look like I don't have any ears! I promise you, I have ears and they're SUPER cute.
The nice Saddlebrook ladies decided my name should be Kaytie. I like it. I think I should go with a bow next time, instead of a head band. I really, really hope I get to be a model in their next fundraising fashion show! I'd look great in a bling collar or a snazzy, little jacket (next fall.) Maybe one of them will fall in love with me and whisk me off to their fabulous home..... Ahhhh, so many possibilities.
I came in with a busted toe...good thing it's just a sprain!! Yippee! No surgery means I'm ready to move into a foster and forever home more quickly.
Can't Wait to Start My Doggie Wardrobe!
Kaytie has retired after a moderate racing career. She appears to do fine with small dogs, but is not cat tolerant.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Let me just tell you about my first week in foster..... I love the food, the pets, the kisses! And these things called "treats....snackies.....biscuits" fab-u-lous! It took me a few tries to get them in my mouth but now, I follow Miss Michelle to the kitchen! Tonight, they said I was going to an "event." I thought it sounded fun but on the way there, my tummy felt yucky and I throwed up in my bed (and on the car!). She said it was o.k. to be a little nervous. I met a pretty friend named Rosie on the way in. Good thing because I thought it was going to be fun until I saw all the humans and other dogs! Yikes! I made it to the other greyhounds but big booms kept happening. I got kisses and she said it was ok but I decided we should go. So we did. I laid on the bed and drank some water. Then my tummy felt funny again. Sorry Miss Michelle...that made a big mess....she said it's been a very busy week of new things and soon, I will love it! Good news is.....I came home and used the doggy door all by myself! What a week. Hugs and kisses....Kaytie. By the way, I'm looking for my forever home. If you think I am a great fit for you....come meet me! Later....I'm going to bed!
