This is Obie (HWTH#16184A). He is a Shepherd mix, DOB: 7/10/15. Obie weighs approximately 80 pounds and stands 24 inches at the shoulders. Obie was rescued from the local animal shelter in Lancaster, California by volunteers with Halfway to Home. This is a very friendly, high-spirited boy who will need an owner willing to give him the love, good-quality human companionship, exercise and training needed for him to live up to his potential. For the right person, Obie may make a good canine running partner. He will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Obie has bonded with his new owner, he will be an awesome canine companion. Obie is good with other dogs and is crate trained.
