Cecil's Story...
Cecil is a fluffy creamsicle colored boy looking for a good home. He has always been rather timid and was recently returned from an adoption that did not work out (through no fault of his!) So we are anxious that he go to the perfect home that will be patient and let him warm up to his new family at his own pace. He gets along gret with other cats and the resident St. Bernard in his foster home. If he can be adopted with his foster-brother Red it would be good, but is not necessary. To learn more about Cecil (and Red), please call his caregiver Stacie at 775 302-3784. Adoption fees: $40 for one kitten, $60 for a pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cecil, a Fallon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fallon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
