Milo's Story...
Hi, my name is Milo! I am a very special boy looking for my new forever home! I am small- but mighty, with a lot of personality! I have not grown up under the best circumstances, so I would like some extra tender, love and care! Everyone here at LCHS has been great since I arrived, I have gone to see the doggy-doctor, I go for a lot of walks and spend time in the office with them! I am sure you have noticed my back leg... well, I had an old injury heal on its own and now my leg stays like that! I am NOT in any pain and the vet said it is fine to keep! WHEW! So if you are looking for an extra special little addition, would you consider me? I would love a family to call my own! I am a chihuahua/JRT mix, around 1 yr old, current on my vaccinations, SNAP 4Dx tested- Negative x4, I will be neutered and micro-chipped before I go home! I look forward to meeting you! Woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a New Castle Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in New Castle, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in New Castle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Castle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Castle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Castle paves the way for another one to be saved.
