My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zander is a pure bred Great Pyrenees and will be a large dog when grown. He currently weighs 11.8 pounds and is 9 weeks old. This breed is majestic looking with a kindly and regal expression. They are calm, composed and serious dogs. Dogs of this breed are quiet indoors and are content with long daily walks and regular opportunities to stretch out and relax. When they are young they require exercise and training. They have a tender side to their nature and during training they need lots of positive reinforcement and rewards. Pyrenees have a highly developed sense of personal justice so it is important to gain their trust when training them. Grooming is important with this type of dog and require regular brushing. They also have a strong protective temperament since they were bred to be livestock guardians are were trained to watch over things. They are devoted to their family and gentle with children. Caring for Great Pyrenees is a labor of love, they require affection, kindness and human companionship. When adopting any breed it is important to read up on their temperament and characteristic. Zander is started on his worming and vaccination schedule and is a very healthy pup.
