Hi There! We are Ruger and Daisy. We came to Power of the Paw after we spent too much time outside and our owners couldn’t keep up anymore. Both of us are very low energy and would make an awesome addition to any home, really!
Ruger here! Daisy is my mom. We’re bonded, since I’ve been with her my entire life. So, I need to stay with her. But because we are so calm, 2 dogs really isn’t a big deal. I’m very mild mannered and sweeter than sugar. I love kids, even small kids. They make me so happy and I’d love to have a kid to hang out with in my new home, but it’s not totally necessary. I’m pretty quiet, until I feel like someone is at my house that doesn’t belong, but I’m learning that one alert bark is plenty and my foster family doesn’t need me to tell them all about it. I allow dogs and kids to be around me while I’m eating. I’m not protective of my food! I know I’ll always get more the next meal. No worries there! Want to take me on a walk? Good! You’ll enjoy it since I walk so beautifully. I have no real need for leash training, so you can focus on teaching me tricks and basic commands! Woo Hoo!
Alright Ruger, enough about you. Now, I’m Daisy. As much as I wish Ruger would get a job and move out, I simply need to be with him. So please, keep us together. I’m a boxer mix with a teeny bit of American Bulldog. But that doesn’t matter to you, right? I’m white, but not deaf like many white boxers. I, too, know that I will always get fed. So I don’t get protective over my food either. I’m great with other dogs, and there are NO issues there. I am however, still curious about cats. I don’t hurt them, but I’m just trying to understand them. I love to snuggle and be around my people.
Both of us will stick around our home and won’t try to escape, even when the opportunity presents itself. We can’t wait to finally have our own, indoor home to love us and care for us forever. I know that 2 dogs may scare you, but I promise we will behave ourselves and you won’t forget the choice.
