My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver here! I'm a Texas cattle dog and I love the great outdoors. I love to sniff and herd and check things out. My foster mom took me to "Obedience School" to help me learn to curb my natural instinct to herd and I was a star pupil. I know all my commands like sit, stay, place, down. And I am very good on a leash, maybe a little pulling when one of those pesky squirrels wants to run in front of me. I get along very well with other dogs especially in my pack. I sometimes try to protect my foster mom when she walks if someone gets too close to her, just barking to let them know I am on watch. I would love to have a home where I could go off leash and do some running and playing. I love the dog park and the car. I'm not very big at only about 30 pounds so I would be good in an apartment. When I am inside, I am calm and like to lay by my foster mom while she works. I'm not destructive and can be left out of my crate. Yes, I am pretty special and I'm looking for a special home to take me away from this Texas heat. If you are that home please contact my rescue so I can get my bags packed. Love Oliver
