Zing's Story...
ZING

"I'm a five year old Scotty, Australian terrier mix and weigh about 18 pounds. I love to go for walks and have even done three mile hikes and have come home to play fetch. I love to talk, I especially talk when I get excited. I'm potty and crate trained. I would do better as an only dog, but would love to have an older child that would play fetch with me. However, I'm very capable of keeping myself entertained. I love to play with my toys and chase balls. I love to sit beside my human. I'm not really good with cats. I would benefit from training since I have a lot of energy. My foster grandma and mom say "I'm a sweet boy." If you would like to make Zing part of your family, please fill out an application online at www.lapdogrescue.org and include his name at the top.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zing, a Tijeras Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
