Facts about Munro - shy but super sweet

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Orange Or Red (Mostly)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Medium
Munro is our "Secret Squirrel" kitten - in complete contrast to his buddy, Murray. While Murray is outgoing and in-your-face, Munro is shy and still afraid of the world. He's still learning to trust people and is looking for a calm, cat savvy home with people willing to work to show him there's nothing to be afraid of, but okay if he's simply a beautiful kitty who lives with you. You'll find him peeking from unexpected places - and maybe one day you'll wake to find him on the foot of your bed.

Munro and Murray are two beautiful boys who complement each other - yin and yang. Contact us to get yourself a basket of oranges! In the case of multiple applicants, preference will be given to anyone wanting to adopt as a pair, because everyone needs a friend who speaks the same language.

Please note: Adoption procedure includes an adoption application and home visit.
Adoption fee applies and includes:
neuter surgery
current on age-appropriate vaccinations
FIV/ feline leukemia testing (negative for both)
any medical care needed to prepare for adoption
microchip
cat training/ behavior DVD
certificate for a free veterinary wellness exam
oodles of kitty love

About Saving At Risk Animals

About Our Rescue Group...

Saving At Risk Animals (SARA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue group. We take-in cats and kittens who are at risk of being put down for treatable medical and behavioral conditions. We are a foster-based rescue, so all of our cats live in foster homes as part of the family - this means we get to know their purrsonality and temperament and are able to help you make a good match in finding the right cat/ cats to suit your lifestyle and home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events each weekend across the Tucson area, which a selection of cats attend. Should you be interested in meeting a particular cat we will make arrangements to have that cat attend an upcoming event. In cases where this is not possible, we can make arrangements for you to meet a cat at a time/ place mutually agreeable to you and the foster family.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process requires an approved adoption application, a home visit, and an adoption contract. Our experienced volunteers are available to help with the transition of your new cat into your home.

$95 adoption fee applies and includes:
Spay/ neuter surgery
Microchip
Age-appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP, rabies)
Feline leukemia testing (negative unless stated otherwise)
FIV testing (negative unless stated otherwise)
Certificate for a free veterinary wellness exam
Any medical/ behavioral treatment needed to prepare the cat for adoption
Support of experienced volunteers in helping your new cat settle into your home
