Meet Petunia, she is 1 to 2 years old and a 7 lb. Poodle Maltese mix. What we know so far about Petunia is, she was a stray, animal control picked her up and took her to the shelter. No one came looking for her, which is a surprise because she appears to have been taken care of and loved. She was put on rescue list only because the shelter said she was too scared to be adopted and they would have euthanized her if a rescue did not step in and help her. She was truly scared at the shelter and lost 2 lbs. while she there. She has been a perfect little girl since she got to her foster mom's home. She appears to be housebroken at this point, she has learned how the doggie door works, great with foster sibling's, loves sitting in your lap, she is a little nervous in the car, but her last ride was in the animal control truck and she is a little nervous when you first meet her.
