Spud (Winter Special)'s Story...
Meet Spud aka Spudly!! This 4 year old neutered male indoor cat is full of love. Spud's owners were very sad to have to surrender him to ARF because of a moving sitiuation. Now this little cutey who loves to be with people, is stuck in his foster mom's basement spending most of his time alone which makes him sad.

Spud was named Spud after he liked to play with a potato as a kitten. He loves to be brushed while sitting on your lap. He is also a big fan of playing with his laser pointer.

Spud would do great in a home where he will receive lots of love and attention and he is very patient and friendly so he could certainly get along with kids.

We are figuring out if he can be housed with dogs and other cats and will update that information as we figure that out.

Please help Spud find his forever home so he no longer has to be along again! :(

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spud (Winter Special), a Media Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Media, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
