Andy's Story...
Imagine this beautiful face being a target at the end of a shotgun? Andy and his 3 sisters were dropped off at the shelter as 4 month old kittens because the man that had them was threatening to shoot them all. Luckily a neighbor stepped in and got them out of harm’s way. We were glad we got to save the life of this beautiful and gentle boy and his 3 sisters. Andy has a unique white coat with orange ears and tail. He has large eyes and large ears. He’s super playful, get along with other cats and is already a lap cat in the making who likes to sit and be pet during playtime breaks. He was born in February 2016. Andy is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, litter trained, dewormed and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Andy please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
