Additional info:
This long-haired Chihuahua/Miniature Australian Shepherd boy has a beautiful blue/tan/white coat. He is friendly and playful. When he first came into the shelter, he was walking with a slight limp but they couldn't find anything wrong with his leg and he is walking better since then. Demetrius is mouthy with other dogs his size and loves to roughhouse with them; it's just play. He does have more of an issue with dogs who are bigger than he is and he may bark or growl at them. He also can be growly with strangers. He loves toys, chasing toys and getting belly rubs. He is very affectionate. He will go in his crate but he is noisy about it! We are working to make his crate more inviting with kongs and blankets so he will want to hang out there without complaining. He loves car rides! Because Demetrius likes to play rough we do not recommend him for a home with kids under the age of 8. Other than that, he's ready for his forever home right now!
