Llamo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Llamo's Story...
Check out this handsome boy! Llamo (AKA Munchkin Man) is a two-year-old Saint Bernard/Golden Retriever cross. He's neutered, housetrained, crate-trained, vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and he'll soon be microchipped.

Some of you may remember a TV show called "Empty Nest" which featured a Saint/Golden named Dreyfus. We think Llamo looks like a slightlysmaller version of Dreyfus.

He loves playing tug, going to the beach, riding in the car, getting tummy rubs, and eating cheese, blueberries and clementines (which he peels before eating).

He has been with preschool-aged children. He's unknown with cats, and having been attacked by a good-sized dog a few months ago, he's not all that crazy about other dogs so we'd prefer that he be the family's only pet. He was an owner-surrender through no fault of his own. Llamo will need a secure six-foot fence and would like kids to romp with in the back yard. His one bad habit? He likes getting into the trash.

Want to meet him? Shoot us an email (JBGSaints@verizon.net).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Llamo, a Sudbury St. Bernard/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Golden Retriever for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a St. Bernard/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Golden Retriever breeders who help with St. Bernard/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
