RESCUE ONLY - PREGNANT
Ms Pacman was picked up on Franklin Rd on 6/10/16. She appears to be a female Sharpei mix. She had been reported to have been around the Walmart parking lot for weeks and when she was found we discovered she is very pregnant. She should be within a couple of weeks of having the pups so she is rescue only. She has been able to be handled safely by our volunteers and has become a sweet loving dog in a short amount of time. Preparations are being made for her to deliver safely at our shelter in our whelping room if need be but we would like for her to be rescued as soon as she is available.

The current adoption fee is $125 which includes the dogs spay or neuter and Rabies vaccination at a local vet, and covers the distemper/parvo vaccine and bordetella vaccine and dewormings it receives here at our shelter.
After you have brought proof of your dogs spay/neuter back to the shelter $50 of that adoption fee will be returned to you, or you may choose to donate it so that another dog can be spayed or neutered at our shelter.
By TN state law stray dogs are held for 3 days so they can be found by their owners before being put up for adoption or rescue. A dog found as a stray wearing a collar is held for 5 days before it is put up for adoption or rescue. Our shelter is a first come first adopt/rescue facility.There are no holds placed on dogs for potential adopters/rescue. They are available at 7am on the day they are available and must be picked up and paid for at that date/time. An adopter or rescue cannot call and hold a dog to be picked up at a later date. It is available to the public until it walks out the door.
