Roxy *Courtesy*'s Story...
Meet Roxy! She is 2 1/2 years old and extremely loving. Knows basic commands and is very hyper/high strong so she needs someone who will exercise her. She does not do well in the city and her owner realized that this was preventing them from training her so once they stopped taking her outside and just let her use the yard, training was much easier. She is terrified of the large piles of garbage bags. She will follow you where ever you go and just wants your body warmth. She is hungry to create a bond.

If you can help, please email angeliquemarlowe8@gmail.com or call 212-875-7538.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy *Courtesy*, a New York Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
