Marley's Story...
Marley is a wonderful girl full of energy. She would be a great dog for someone who likes to run or play with children who you need to be entertained. And talk about being graceful, this dog can jump from a standing position to a 3 foot platform just like a cat. But don’t worry your supper is safe because this girl is very obedient and will do anything to please her family. You want a friendly dog with energy, this is your girl. Come out to get her before someone else does.

You can visit me during open hours, which are Monday through Thursday 9am-3pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm or email to make an appointment for another time. Please see our website at palspetsia.com for adoption fees and other information!

The PALS shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Grinnell Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Grinnell, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Grinnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grinnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grinnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grinnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
