Meet Vera – Chatterbox Tabbyl!

9 months old

Vera arrived at a local vet’s office tied up in a pillow case! Needless to say, she was pretty upset and scared! It didn't take long, though, for her to figure out that there's nothing better than a nice warm human lap. She loves to settle down and snooze in the nearest lap--but first she's going to tell you all about her day. Vera is a talker, and she's got a big voice (and a lot of opinions). She’s always ready to play, too, but if you sit down with her, she’ll climb into your lap and give you a big purr. Because Vera is so active, we think she would do best in a home with another playful cat. Vera is spayed, FeLV-negative and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vera – tabby talks a lot!, a Studio City American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Studio City, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
