Hi folks! My name is Rookie! I am just a cute, shy little Chihuahua mix looking for a lap to snuggle on! I am very active guy and like to go for walks, but only if you promise to snuggle me on the couch after! I love to hang out with my doggy pals and cats are OK too! Since I am socially sensitive, I need to be in a low key and quiet environment without kids. I am shy at first, but with some time, patience, and a few treats, I will become your new best friend! I tend to bark at strangers when I see them, but can easily be redirected with treats. In fact, all my training seems easy with just a few treats because I listen so well! My foster family says that I am even already kennel and potty trained! I am just a very sweet and affectionate guy looking for a confident owner who understands my needs and has the patience to work through them. Are you that person? Then fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $250.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application which can be downloaded from our website and sent back to us via email or fax (503-542-3437). Once the application has been filled out and submitted to us it is forwarded to our adoption committee. Once the application has been reviewed and processed the applicant will be contacted. This process usually takes about 24-48 hours.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (excluding rabies), and microchipped. Our adoption fees are based on the age and health of the dog or cat. Each pet’s fee is listed at the end of their description.
