Oreo Cookie's Story...
Oreo Is approximately 4 years old. He is a sweet, very shy boy. He has been coming to me four petting and kisses. He is still a little scared about going out but will. He is up to date on his shots, microchipped, and neutered. He is pretty much potty trained and eash trained. He is being fostered by Saving Angels Rescue. They have many small dogs up for adoption. If you are interested in this young man or another dog please send us an email and we will contact you as soon as possible or come to Petco on Saturday to see some of the other dogs up for adoption. Please contact us before heading to Petco as we are not there every Saturday. Note: There is a house check with every pet, so only those within driving distance inquire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo Cookie, a Inverness Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Inverness, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Inverness.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inverness already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inverness breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inverness paves the way for another one to be saved.
