Reece's Story...
Reece in San Fernando Valley

Reece is a 2 year old spayed  Collie mix with white paws and a fluffy tail that is always wagging.  If you enjoy a big 'doggie hug' at the end of a long day then Reece is your girl! Although a bit shy at first, within in no time you will be covered in kisses.

Reece plays well with other dogs and people and loves to be the center of attention. She is potty trained, vaccinated and is great on leash. She loves to go running and to be outdoors, and best of all she loves to sleep by your feet. Clearly the happiest dog on earth, in spite of her past, she will steal your heart and remind you how much fun life can really be.

Reece is currently living with her foster family in Southern California's Granada Hills.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reece, a Granada Hills Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Granada Hills, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Granada Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Granada Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Granada Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Granada Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
