I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
When Chloe was picked up by a local animal control officer her condition was so poor the decision was made to put her down rather than take her to the pound. PUPS to the rescue! Chloe is a small female, Terrier mix that has recovered beautifully from her previous life of neglect. Chloe is now ready for that special person that will show her how pet ownership should be. Chloe is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and on a proven, slow kill heartworm method. She needs thyroid medication twice a day, regular ear cleaning, grain free food and a bath every two weeks. The person interested in adopting Chloe should have sufficient resources to properly care for her and have her regularly groomed. Chloe is small and will need to be a (mostly) indoor dog. For more information on our Chloe, please call Cheryl at 979.732.5591 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Her adoption fee is $75.00.
PUPS was formed in 2003 because there were no shelters in Austin, Colorado, Waller or any other counties west of Houston. There are a couple of shelters now, but they are very small. Our goal is do reduce the number of unwanted pets in our area by encouraging spay and neuter and helping to pay the bill for people who cannot afford to spay or neuter their animals on their own. We get calls daily to help place animals and have recently stepped up our ability to do this with the use of foster homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...
PUPS has a cat condo at the Rosenberg Petco. We do dog adoptions there most Saturdays also. PUPS does adoptions at the Petco on Mason Rd in Katy almost every Saturday. We have booths to promote spaying and neutering and have a few animals for adoption at many local events (fairs, festivals) in eight counties west of Houston. See our website for more information.
Our Adoption Process...
After screening and filling out the adoption form, the adoption fee for puppies and kittens is $35. When the puppy or kitten is 5-6 months old, you pay an additional $35 and we pay the rest of the spay or neuter. We do a followup phone call to make sure this happens. We make sure the pup or kitten is current on vaccinations, worming, etc. Most animals over 6 months of age will have already been spayed or neutered, be on heartworm prevention, be current on vaccinations, etc. The adoption fee for these animals is $70.
