Boing! Boing! My name is Tigger and I am a sweet and quiet little guy. I need someone to sit and snuggle with me, a lot, and cuddle with me at bedtime. Oh, and I like to play, too. Laser lights are my fav! I am fostered in Huntsville, AL and I can come to your house my surgery at the end of June, but if you are local, you can ask about the foster-to-adopt program! I am felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped! My adoption fee is $75 and you can fill out an application for me at www.forrescue.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
