I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Meet Mimi! 10 year old Mimi came to the shelter as a stray back in May. No one came looking for Mimi and after her stray hold was up, she was made adoptable. Mimi is a young 10 years "old" even though it appears she hasn't had the easiest life. Her coat is a bit coarse and flaky (nothing good nutrition shouldn't fix!) and she has an injury to her left eye that is improving. Despite this, Mimi is full of wiggles and tail wags for her human friends. She's still a strong lady and has a decent energy. She loves to go on walks and is super curious. She trots down the hall with her head high in the air, turning every which way to greet new people and see new things. Mimi is 10 years old, but she would love to be your new adventure buddy! Besides walks, Mimi's favorite thing in the world are back scratches. Scratch her back and her tail wags like crazy and she wiggles all over, making the cutest happy face. :-)
Mimi has kennel mates she has done well with, but as always, the shelter recommends dog intros prior to adopting. Bring your dog from home in and staff can help you make sure everyone gets along.
You can meet 10 yr old Mimi in E building at the West Valley Animal Care Center at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Mimi's $20 adoption fee includes spay, County license and rabies certificate.
