Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB May 5, 2009.
Phebe is a tenderhearted cat, waiting for her forever family. She's a sweet girl who both gives and demands a lot of affection. She's happiest sitting by your side, and will prod you for a good head rub if you let her go too long without attention. She believes your free hand is for petting her, and will roll over for an upper belly rub when she wants one. If you're doing it right, you'll have her purring with her tongue hanging out. She'll come up to you while you're sitting in a chair, and nuzzle your feet, maybe give them a lick. She doesn't much like to be picked up, or to be chased after, and can be quite skittish if she's not feeling secure, but when you're seated, her favourite place is by your side. She has beautiful green eyes, and a meek little call to tell you that she needs some love.
Phebe needs to go to a quiet home, where she can feel secure, and where she will always have a place sleeping by your head. She seems to have had a past that has left her a little fearful, but with the right environment, she turns into a true, sappy, love monster. Her history is unknown, but she spent too long in the shelter. Within a few days of a home environment, she went from being a shy, stressed out, fearful cat, to a purry sidekick, always wanting to be pet. She is not in the least aggressive, and not a threat. She tolerates other cats, but would be happiest not having to share her environment. If there are too many people, too much noise, or children around, she will spend most of her time hiding under furniture, so the right fit for her is somewhere calm, where she will always feel safe to be seen about. She deserves to have those small things that make her happy, and these are a must: a quiet home, a calm, affectionate companion, and place on your bed... and your love! Adopt her today.
