Laka's Story...
HI, I’m Laka and they tell me they think I am a rat terrier mix and I am around 5 months old. I am a sweet little girl just looking for someone to love and play with me. I weigh about 15 pounds and have been spayed, micro chipped and I am up to date on all of my shots.
I came here from Georgia with my brother, Kane. I was dumped at the end of a road and a nice lady saw it happen. She grabbed my brother and I, and found us a rescue in Delaware. They tell me it is nice up here, but I have noticed it seems to rain a bit much. I am working on potty training and crate training and so far I think I am getting the hang of it. I do ok on a leash, just a bit more practice and I am sure I will have it down.
I am now looking for a forever family , who will love me till the end of time. If you would like to adopt me please email and someone will send you an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laka, a Middletown Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
