Ferrets are outgoing and curious. They bond well with people. They are very social and prefer to live in groups or pairs. They are sound sleepers. They live approx. 7-9 years.

They will need a home large enough to allow for separate areas for eating, sleeping, exercising and eliminations. They prefer multi-level homes. They enjoy hammocks, toys and playing outside their habitat (under supervision).
