Looking for his forever home!

His owners were having to relocate and they called us to help them rehome Thunderstorm and Snowman. We posted their pictures to try to find them a home together or get them Sponsored so they could come to Pasture Pals ER. After a few days, their owners decided to partially sponsor them themselves and on 5/23/15 Thunderstorm and Snowman came to Pasture Pals ER!
Thunderstorm is a well behaved and strikingly handsome boy. He is sweet and I am so glad that he is now part of our family at Pasture Pals ER but he would love nothing more than a home of his very own!!
Maybe you can help us help more horses like Thunderstorm!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ThunderStorm, a Clayton Appaloosa was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Appaloosa for sale in Clayton, or seeking a Appaloosa from a breeder in Clayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Appaloosa breeders who help with Appaloosa rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
