Serena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Serena's Story...
Serena is an amazing, low maintenance, easy-going dog. She's just wants to be with you, and she's perfectly happy to sit on the couch watching TV. She's well behaved, walks well on the leash, and is incredibly sweet and affectionate.

Serena had a rough background. She was bred again and again... and then left in the shelter waiting for her number to come up. Although she was failed by her humans, she's still amazingly sweet and loving, and so happy to be safe. She sweet, loves to cuddle, and she's fine with kids.

She is already housetrained, spayed and vaccinated. She is heartworm positive, and 100% of her heartworm treatment will be paid by Florida Urgent Rescue. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing dog to be your new best friend, you'll want to meet Serena.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Jacksonville Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
