My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, if serious about adoption please email caarescue@gmail.com~

My name is Tyson and I was surrender to CAA Rescue after 6 years with my first family.
I joined CAA Rescue and my new foster mama is showing me the world … I don’t think I did a lot of adventures with my previous family. So far I am responding really well to everything my foster mama has to show me

I walk well on leash and am house trained
I am not overly vocal just normal Chihuahua stuff like when I am scared I will bark. I was pretty nervous when I first went into foster care but I am so much better now … gaining strength and confidence more and more each day

I am not left alone very often maybe only one hour a day so if you are away from home a lot I may not be the right dog for you especially if you are in the apartment. There was no destruction but I did cry and pace a lot. I am sure that as I get used to routines this will lesson as I learn that it is ok to be alone but for now CAA Rescue volunteers will not be considering applications where people dwell in apartments or condos where they are away from home an average work day

I am dog friendly as I am in foster care with two big guys! A pit bull and a Cane Corso … we get along GREAT! I also live with cats in foster care and while I am afraid of them I am learning that a cat cleaning is not so bad!

I am people friendly but definitely prefer women over men. I am learning that it is ok to be around men who are kind to me but it takes me a little longer to warm up to them and to trust them. It will take a special Chihuahua loving man to adopt me into his heart and home to show me that not all men are bad men … & that real men LOVE ChiBabies!

I have met children and have been kind and gentle with them but I do not live with children so I think that if you have friends or family with respectful children who want to come over and say HI and pet me I would really be ok with that but I do not think I would be happy day in and out living with children in the home

I absolutely love car rides – the longer the better! So if you have a road trip planned this summer with classic 80’s rock love songs as traveling tunes I am so totally your co-pilot

I am a typical ChiMan and will have to sleep in bed with you under the covers and if you have a partner you will have to understand that I will have to sleep in the middle of the bed between you. ChiBaby Loving First! & partner loving comes second!

I show absolutely no food or toy possession or aggression in foster care at this time
I am a typical Chihuahua: smart, loyal, passionate and a gentle loving character with those that I love dearly

However when I am naughty I am soooooooooo bad! Sometimes I like to pee off my pee pad when my foster mama is not looking. I know it upsets her but I do it anyway because she keeps letting the alien looking cat with the weird hat lick me to death everyday!
