Sarah's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sarah's Story...
Sarah is an approx. 7 year old Lab mix. Don’t let her age fool you though, she’s a typical Lab and still can run and fetch with the best of them! She loves to run and play and is very fast. She’s on the smaller side for a Lab, right around 55 lbs. And she’s GREAT! She’s a very happy, sweet gal, and is the perfect mix of energy: playful at times, but also content to lounge around with you as well. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home and loves, loves, loves people. Sarah is a well-behaved, all-around great dog, looking for an all-around great home. She's a very "easy" dog - perfectly housebroken and crate trained, well-mannered and well-behaved and walks well on leash too. Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website, www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Sarah is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a Reisterstown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
