Oscar Madison’s birthday is October 9, 2010, so he is young in Affen years. It is not unusual for an Affenpinscher to live 15 years or more if fed high quality, grain free food and they have annual veterinary check-ups. He weighs about 11 lbs, is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heart worm negative and taking preventative. He does not need much grooming as his hair is a little thin on his back from a medication the vet prescribed for him when he was first rescued. Oscar is healthy, happy and loving life now!
He is currently being fostered near Wichita Kansas and we prefer to place him within driving distance. Our rescued dogs may never be shipped in cargo and we do not transport them to adoptive homes. They are never placed in homes with invisible (electric) fencing. Doggy doors are OK as long as they are secured at night and when you are gone. Oscar is small enough to be carried away by a coyote or other predator so should never be outside alone.
